The Bedrock Collection

The Akar Chairs are made from the base of teak trees that have been submerged in water for many years. They are pulled and cut using the original shapes and sizes to form one of a kind chairs, tables and benches. Other works of art are made from the roots system of the teak trees.

Petrified wood are logs and branches of fallen trees trapped beneath the earth without exposure to oxygen. Years of compression then turn them into stone through a process of dissolved silica, mineral and volcanic reactions seeping into the wood. This causes many beautiful natural colors and elements to occur, giving each treasure a unique one of a kind beauty.
